Michael + Kristi's wedding is sure to be the wedding to beat this year! This reception had a little bit of everything; Penny, the most adorable flower-dog in the world, a gorgeous historic venue (The Smith House), a DJ who leads dances like a boss (Jason Carpenter of DJ Sound Solution), not to mention a beautiful couple up for anything, and cheesecake, who could ask for more?!
Kristi + Michael have the rom-com story set up, meeting when their best friends actually introduced them. Connection was easy for them, and a first date was simple; cuddled on the couch until 3am watching Animal Planet. They spent every day for a week together and then finally went on a formal date to Wolfie's. Michael was still so nervous and Kristi found that to be adorable. Love was so easy that Michael knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Kristi after 3 days of knowing each her.
Michael first told Kristi that he was in love with her was when she was intoxicated, as he was nervous and was hoping she wouldn't remember, but he simply couldn't contain it, and she did. Though she pretended not to. About a month later Kristi said she loved him back and the rest is history. Like I said, call Hollywood because they're charming.
Michael had no doubts when it comes to popping the question to Kristi because he admires her strength, and values having her as a partner for life's troubles. He loves that she will always stand her ground and refuses to take any crap about anything. Their proposal took place on a scenic hike, the surprise was ruined because she already knew it was coming but, when you're that in sync it's hard to keep secrets from your future wife, even despite your best efforts! Kristi had no problem saying "Yes!" because she loves how dedicated he is to keeping her happy and doing everything he can to provide for their little family. It was a perfect proposal for a couple who loves the outdoors, and at their ring ceremony they even planted a tree.
The wedding went as smooth as can be with Kaitlin Carriger (It's KEE Events) as the wedding planner. Every detail was perfect, and as an extra special touch on the big day Kristi used her mother's wedding ring and necklace for something old and borrowed.
The whole day was a magical evening to remember and I'm so grateful to have been able to help capture some of those moments for such an amazing couple.
