For those of you who think weddings are only for the fall, allow me to personally tell you you’re wrong! The end of summer phenomenon, also known as the wedding of Sammi and John Hamblin took place in August and it has easily set the bar for all summer weddings to come. You CANNOT go wrong with a beautiful venue like Muhlhauser Barn.
With beautiful roots going back to the lovely couple being introduced by the maid-of-honor Jada, the whole day went off without a hitch. Simple and sweet, just like their love story -starting with a guitar by a pool, the day had a perfect amount of charm without losing the carefree ease the couple both carried.
Intricate details in decorations on John’s suit took their arrangements from flowers to explosive eye-catching accessories. There were enough cupcakes to feed a small army, but the quantity didn’t sacrifice quality, because they were to die for. No day is complete without those we love and the memorial tribute to the family members lost before the big day arrive, was breathtaking.
John proposed to Sammi in their basement, in a casual way on a normal day proving that even in the most normal of times our love can overwhelm us, because when you know who you want to love forever, you never want to let them go. They have survived living in different states, moving homes, and many cases of Bud-light together, that’s proof enough for me.
As someone who attends weddings more than regularly, it’s safe to say I can tell when couples are meant to be and these two are it. A sense of pride and excitement filled each person who entered the elegantly decorated barn, and I know this couple will be surrounded with support, and love for the rest of their lives. I was so happy to be part of such a happy wedding and feel honored to have been able to capture the pure joy of everyone who surrounded such a meant-to-be couple.
